Digital experiences, shaped by editorial thinking and interaction.

ABOUT

I’m Melanie Christine Amengual, a French-Brazilian designer and photographer based in London. I work across editorial design, digital experiences, and interactive formats for both commercial and marketing. Over the past four years at Hearst, I’ve collaborated across editorial, commercial, and marketing teams, creating digital products, shaping campaigns, mentoring junior designers, and helping improve how work flows between teams.

I like to keep things simple and focused. User experience, clarity, and tone always come first. I’m particularly drawn to interactive and experiential design, where structure meets play and interaction supports the message rather than getting in the way. Working across digital, print, set, and event design has shaped how I approach projects, always with people in mind.

Alongside my design work, I’m also an artist working across sculpture, live installations and analogue video. I studied at Aix-Marseille Université, Leeds Beckett University and the University of the Arts London, combining fine art with a background in Applied Foreign Languages, a business and law-focused degree.
