Parallax article
I designed and built a bespoke parallax article for ELLE UK x Audi, using interactive editorial storytelling to explore Audi’s approach to design and innovation. With limited campaign imagery available, I worked with stock assets and shaped them into a premium digital feature that felt fluid, polished and easy to navigate.
The build used a modular parallax system I had previously refined, combining scroll-led sections, subtle animation and video. Each section was adapted to suit Audi’s visual world while keeping the pacing clear, calm and editorial.
The final article delivered a seamless blend of brand and editorial design, showing how digital storytelling can feel as crafted and considered as a print feature.
Expandable banner
I also pitched, art directed and built a new expandable banner format from scratch, designed to open on user interaction and create a more immersive display experience. The aim was to introduce impact and movement without making the UX feel heavy or overcomplicated.
I developed prototypes to test layout, responsiveness and transitions, then refined the format so it felt smooth, purposeful and simple to use across breakpoints.
The banner became a reusable Hearst format used across campaigns, helping bring a stronger layer of interactivity to display while keeping load time and usability in mind.
Interactive Superhero 360°
For the campaign’s Superhero unit, I designed a responsive interactive display featuring 360° interior and exterior views of the Audi Q8. The format gave users control over perspective, creating a more tactile way to explore the car within a clean, cinematic layout.
I focused on pacing, lighting, product clarity and natural navigation, balancing motion with usability so the interaction felt premium rather than cluttered.
The final unit gave the campaign a dynamic product-led moment and helped establish a blueprint for future interactive 360° display formats across Hearst.
