Building a Gen-Z Fresh Creative Identity

Made Club is a modern knitting community centred around creativity, craft and connection. I was responsible for developing and applying the refreshed visual identity across a range of print, video and digital touchpoints, creating a cohesive design system that balanced a contemporary aesthetic with the welcoming nature of the brand.

Working within the newly established identity, I designed a collection of editorial and marketing materials that could be used consistently across member communications, event collateral and digital experiences. The challenge was to create a visual language that felt bold, accessible and design-led while avoiding traditional craft clichés, which what it was originally.

A key part of the project was establishing consistency across multiple formats, ensuring typography, colour, photography and graphic elements worked together regardless of the final output (digital or print).

Designing a Flexible Brand System

Key responsibilities

  • Applied and developed the Made Club visual identity across print and digital.

  • Designed editorial layouts, printed collateral and marketing materials.

  • Created event assets including flyers, guides and supporting communications.

  • Produced responsive layouts for digital platforms.

  • Maintained consistency across typography, colour palette and imagery.

  • Prepared artwork for both print and digital production.

The project resulted in a cohesive suite of branded assets spanning editorial design, print and digital communication. Rather than treating each deliverable independently, every piece was designed as part of a unified visual system, allowing the Made Club identity to remain recognisable across different formats while supporting the community's creative and welcoming personality.
