Behind the Design

Porsche × Harper's Bazaar explored the creative relationships that shape success, following actor Gwendoline Christie as she reflected on three influential figures in her life: a colourist, a dancer and a chef. The campaign celebrated collaboration and craftsmanship through a series of beautifully shot editorial films.

I was responsible for creating the motion graphics and graphic assets used throughout the video. Working with the existing footage and editorial direction, I designed animated typography, title cards and supporting graphic elements that complemented the storytelling while reflecting the premium identities of both Harper's Bazaar and Porsche.

The motion design was intentionally understated, bringing structure and rhythm to the film without distracting from the cinematography or the conversations at its centre.

Key responsibilities

  • Designed the motion graphics for the campaign film.

  • Created animated typography and title treatments.

  • Produced graphic overlays and branded visual assets.

  • Ensured consistency with Harper's Bazaar's editorial style and Porsche's premium brand identity.

  • Delivered production-ready graphics for the final edit.

Supporting Editorial Storytelling

The campaign followed Gwendoline Christie on a journey celebrating the people who have helped shape her career, reinforcing Porsche's message that we go further through collaboration. My contribution focused on creating a refined motion graphics system that supported the narrative, enhanced the pacing of the film and elevated the overall viewing experience while remaining true to the editorial aesthetic of Harper's Bazaar.
